Cambridge International School has been the biggest contributor to shaping who I am today. I have developed my leadership, time management, and team skills and have also been able to build on these through my experiences at CIS to gin in my professional life. I joined Cambridge back in 2010 and it played a very crucial role in my formative years. With a warm and welcoming nature and the attitude to help their students at all times, the teachers at CIS were highly motivating and pushed me to achieve my full potential. During my time here, I was bestowed upon the honors and responsibilities of being the House Captain, the Head boy and was encouraged to represent the school at National Level Science Fairs, Zonal Level TT matches, and District Level Art competitions. I am grateful for these opportunities because they motivated me to not only become a better version of myself but to explore different things and find the ones I have a passion for. Such an environment, where they encourage you to excel in extra-curricular activities as much as academics, has laid the foundations for me to be my ever-confident self and develop a knack for learning and growing each day. Looking back, I am proud to say that I am an alumnus of CIS.
At Cambridge, you are not only inspired to chase your dreams but also given support like a family to help you reach your goals. I was part of the first batch of the school and I am immensely proud of that as the school did not only help me grow and learn but I always had great support from my teachers and the whole staff to help me plan my future.
I was constantly motivated during my time at Cambridge which led me to become the Head Girl of the school in my 11th Grade and school mentor in 12th grade and develop my leadership skills. I was given the opportunity to not only explore and improve my skills academically but also in all other areas such as fine arts, music, dance, sports, etc which helped me find my true passion. Every day I felt motivated and excited to go to school and learn new things with amazing classmates and teachers. It helped me build the confidence to study abroad as we were constantly exposed to different faculties and mentors from different parts of the world. Cambridge gave me one of the best four years of my life and I am immensely grateful for that and thankful for the whole Cambridge family to help shape me into the person I am today.
Cambridge International School (CIS) was like a second home to me, it has not only taught me so many things academicals but also has played a big role in my character building. The teachers, administration and all the other staff has always been supporting and helping toward every child. I have always felt a sense of comfort and belongingness here. Being an Advocate, CIS was a strong base to start upon, the school has always encouraged me to move forward, conquer my fears, learn from my mistakes and cherish my wins. CIS in itself is a perfect role model for young developing minds and helps in the enhancement of every student in their own way.
